Early Childhood Mental Health Intervention

Due to a number of factors, children display their problems in different ways then adults would. A child who functions well at home may have problems in other settings, such as the classroom or in social settings. Often, children will display signs of anxiety or trauma, while other may exhibit aggression and difficulty following rules.

As a parent or caregiver, you may feel confused and anxious about meeting the needs of a child or youth with these issues, and where and how to seek information and treatment. Child and Family Guidance and Support Services works together with families and caregivers to help improve the well-being and functioning of the child. Individual treatment plans and family treatment plans are created to help the child experience a happy and healthy future.

The cost is $140 per 45-minute session.
