Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy
IFS is a gentle, compassionate approach to therapy that helps us understand the different “parts” of ourselves. We all have many parts — for example, one part might feel anxious, another part might try to keep everything under control, and another part might feel playful or creative. Sometimes these parts work well together, and other times they can feel in conflict.
In IFS, we get to know our parts and the roles they take on. We remain curious about these parts and learn what they need, instead of pushing them away. This process helps us connect with our core “Self” — the calm, confident, and compassionate place inside all of us. The version of Self we often wish would show up more in life. From there, healing and lasting change can happen.
